The following items are accepted on an ongoing basis, as many of them are consumables and must be replenished often.​

  • white copy paper

Volunteer 

Hope at Hand provides many opportunities for volunteers of all ages.  Bi-weekly volunteer sessions and additional opportunities can be found via our website or Facebook page.  Volunteers may be asked to do the following tasks:

  • Organizing materials or storage

  • Sharpening, cutting, folding, etc.

  • Packaging materials for classes

  • Creating new art projects​

  • Event planning

  • Clerical

  • Gardening  

  • Researching poems

Of course, volunteers have input on task selection and completion!

Fund Development Internship

The fund development internship program at Hope at Hand focuses on designing and implementing comprehensive development and fundraising operations. From grant research to launching an annual campaign, this is a great resume enhancer for anyone interested in development and fundraising. Specific duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the development of a comprehensive fundraising calendar 

  • Research grant award prospects and opportunities

  • Donor prospect research and follow-up tasks

  • Assist with drafting and editing of funding proposals

  • Assist with production and execution of donor cultivation mailings 

  • Assist with the organization of special events

  • General administrative duties that support fundraising
